Dunrobin Castle is located in Golspie, Sutherland, around 55 miles north of Inverness.
Originating from the thirteenth century, the castle is owned by the Countess of Sutherland and is open to the public between April and October.
The castle features daily falconry displays in its gardens looking out towards the sea. It also has a museum, shop and cafe.
Entry is £12 for an adult, with concessions available. You can visit the castle and gardens with around a 2-3 hour visit.
