How to get to Keiss Beach

Keiss Beach in Caithness, Scotland lies at the northern end of Sinclair Bay on the North Coast 500 - around 10 miles south of John O'Groats and 7.5 miles north of Wick.

Driving south from John O'Groats, you turn off the A99 road, after passing through Keiss, which is around 8.5 miles from John O'Groats. There is a green sign on the right hand side of the road for Keiss Beach at a small cross roads.

Taking this left turn, you proceed a few minutes down a single track road until you reach the free parking for Keiss Beach.

Driving north from Wick, you are looking for the same green sign for Keiss Beach on the left hand side of the road, a few miles after passing through Reiss. If you should reach Keiss itself, you have come too far.
